Helping A Friend To Help Herself
For the past while, I try to give transportation to elderly disciples who want to come to the temple for their daily or weekly prayers. One particular lady who is unable to walk properly, has to be assisted all the time because of the surgery since her childbirth of her third son. So after many rides that I gave her, back and forth to the temple, I learned that she needs more help then just to the temple, for her other personal matters. Therefore, I encouraged her to reapply her benefits to a handicapped bus that can enable her to do things for herself and children. We went together to the interviews and feedback, give her encouragement and support. Finally she is on the bus herself, with the privilege of the city Handibus. thanks to the donors. Amitofo.

The Sound Of Dharma
It is a great way to promote the Buddha's teaching through music. Music is universal in all walks of life. As such we have been sourcing Dharma music both in Chinese (which is quite easily available ) and in English and trying to share them amongst friends. They appeal to both young and old in a very soothing and calming ambience. This too will definitely be helpful. Thank you and your team for the kindness and compassion.

Christmas with Chris
Last December, I was visiting S, (my fiancé) at Stanford. I wanted to visit my dear friend C who had worked with me as a scientific researcher in Washington D. C. I quit in February 2006 and moved back to India.
