Beginnings of Western Buddhist Culture

Buddhistprog08 Buddhism has been in the US for 100 years now and the first glimmers of authentically Western Buddhist culture have emerged, first in California ('natch) but elsewhere as well. I will be speaking at the Fremont, Ca central library in three weeks about four aspects of Western Buddhist culture that we can already identify. I predict that 1) equal access to the Dharma (democracy), 2) psychological understanding of the Dharma, 3) scientific approach to cultivation, and 4) animating of the interface between humanity and the natural world will result from Buddhism's impact on Western culture.

Is great to heard that, Beginings of Western Buddhist Culture. Buddhist was spread to China thousand year ago, change his face from a an ancent India face to a Chinese tradition adn accepted by million of Chinese. Today when I read this topic, is time Buddhist had to change for suit into western society. The world need the teaching from our great Guru, Guatama Buddha.

Buddhism is one of the greatest religions of the world. It originated in India and spread to the other parts of the world. Even after so many centuries, people from both east and west find the preachings of Lord Buddha immensely significant. Hence, the popularity of Buddhism is increasing.
